Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the cardiac ICU. • Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes. • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. • Support families by providing education and emotional support during critical care treatment. • Participate in unit rounding and staff meetings to uphold high care standards. Qualifications & Experience: • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nursing experience preferred. • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment. • Commitment to compassionate patient and family-centered care. • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Schedule: • 12-hour shifts starting at noon. • Rotating weekend coverage as requested. • Flexible float duties as needed. Contract Details: • 13-week assignment. • Approximately 36 hours per week. • No on-call requirements.
