About The Role As a Nurse Functional Evaluator with Maximus, you'll leverage your clinical expertise to assess how disabilities or health conditions impact individuals' daily lives. Your role will encompass evaluating complex cases related to physical and mental health conditions and chronic pain disorders. Your compassion and clinical background will be instrumental in aiding customers through their journey toward improvement. We recognize that this role can be both challenging and fulfilling, which is why we offer a comprehensive training program designed for your success. You’ll start with formal training and receive ongoing support and mentorship in your role. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or in-person to evaluate how individuals’ disabilities or health conditions affect their daily activities. • Prepare Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining eligibility for benefits. • Apply your clinical knowledge in a new context with continuous feedback and support from our team. What We Look For: • Current NMC registration number. • Minimum of 1 year of comprehensive post-registration experience in adult or mental health care, either within or outside of the NHS. • Eligibility to work in the UK; unfortunately, we are unable to provide sponsorships. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in computer software for documentation and report generation.
