About The Role As a Nurse Functional Evaluator with Maximus, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess how disabilities or health conditions impact individuals' daily lives. In this role, you will be evaluating complex cases related to physical and mental health conditions as well as chronic pain disorders. Your compassionate approach and solid clinical background will be instrumental in guiding customers along their journey toward improvement. We understand that this role can be both demanding and rewarding, which is why we offer a comprehensive training program designed for your success. You will start with formal training and receive ongoing support and mentorship throughout your career. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct assessments via telephone, video, or in-person to evaluate how disabilities or health conditions affect individuals' daily activities. • Prepare Personal Independence Payment (PIP) reports to assist the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in determining benefit eligibility. • Apply your clinical knowledge in a new context with continuous feedback and support from our team. What We Look For: • Current NMC registration number. • Minimum of 1 year of comprehensive post-registration experience in adult or mental health care, either within or outside of the NHS. • Eligibility to work in the UK; unfortunately, we cannot provide sponsorships. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency in computer software for documentation and report generation.
