Job Description
As a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN, you'll receive clinical and operational guidance from the Pre-OP/PACU/OR RN Supervisor, actively contributing to positive patient outcomes. You will play a vital role in adhering to state and federal regulations, the standards of practice, and our internal policies. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and thorough documentation.
• Document initial assessments, nursing interventions, and educate patients and their families about their care and treatment.
• Ensure safe management of medication and medical supplies.
• Help maintain a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Create and nurture professional relationships with patients, families, coworkers, and surgeons.
• Serve as a liaison to coordinate communication and care among patients, families, surgeons, and staff.
• Conduct pre- and post-operative education for patients and their families.
• Participate in compliance activities and continuous improvement programs.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain accurate records and achieve facility objectives.

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Nevada.
• At least 1 year of experience in medical-surgery, emergency room, or critical care.
• Positive and motivated attitude focused on improving the lives of others.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Compensation for this position is influenced by several factors including regional labor markets, educational background, work experience, and professional certifications. You will benefit from a comprehensive benefits package, recognition programs, the option to participate in an equity stock purchase plan, and a 401k retirement contribution, subject to eligibility requirements. The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.94 to $51.63, based on full-time employment.
