Job Description:
We seek dedicated RNs to join our team in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), where you will recover patients from various anesthesia types and manage their postoperative care. Our 28-bed PACU serves diverse surgical specialties, including general surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedic, vascular, cardiac procedures, and more. With patient intake from over 40 operating rooms, we operate 24/7 in a dynamic environment.
We prefer candidates with ICU experience, but will also consider those with ED, Step-down, or floor-level experience individually. ACLS certification is essential for external candidates due to the nature of patients we care for, including those from ICU and step-down settings. Our nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1, ensuring high-quality care and a supportive environment.

Qualifications:
• Current Connecticut RN License
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school
• ICU experience preferred
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to hire
• ACLS certification required for external candidates
