Your Role:
As a PACU Nurse in our ambulatory surgery center, you'll provide safe and effective care to patients post-surgery. Your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing patient care areas and ensuring all equipment and supplies are ready.
• Implementing airway management techniques and monitoring vital signs.
• Administering IV catheters and conducting thorough patient evaluations.
• Checking surgical sites and maintaining a comforting environment for patients and families.
• Guiding patients through discharge criteria to ensure safe recovery.
Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• A minimum of 1 year experience in PACU or ICU settings, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Current RN license in your state of employment.
• BCLS Certification (online certification not acceptable) and ACLS required.
• PALS certification as required by the facility.
