A contract opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with expertise in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings. This role requires providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced surgical environment, focusing on patient recovery and comfort following anesthesia. Qualifications and Desired Experience • Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license required • Prior experience in Critical Care, Hospital Pre-operative, and PACU settings essential • Proficient in EPIC Op-time electronic charting system Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering in the PACU following surgery • Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and assess patient status continually to ensure safe recovery • Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesiologists to provide seamless patient care • Document patient care accurately using EPIC Op-time system • Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition Additional Details • Up to 36 hours of call-off shifts available at no cost during the assignment • Attention to facility requested start date is mandatory; candidates with start dates delayed more than two weeks beyond requested date may not be considered This contract position offers a dynamic clinical environment for nurses specializing in perioperative care.
