Job Description
This contract nursing opportunity is based in Mustang, OK, offering an engaging role in an outpatient diagnostics unit. The ideal candidate is a Registered Nurse with at least one year of experience, licensed in Oklahoma, and certified in BLS and ACLS. This position features a day shift schedule with four 10-hour days per week, totaling 36 guaranteed hours, with occasional weekend hours as needed by the facility.
Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care in the outpatient diagnostics setting. You will be professionally accountable for patient care, evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by others, and coordinate patient care in collaboration with various departments. Preference will be given to candidates with endoscopy experience or skills in providing preoperative and postoperative care. The role also involves circulating in endoscopy procedures and working in both pre-op and recovery areas.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Active Oklahoma State RN Licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in outpatient diagnostics or endoscopy
• Ability to work day shifts on a 4x10 schedule, with flexibility for some weekend hours
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
