What You Will Do
• Assist in nursing assessments by collecting and documenting both objective and subjective patient data.
• Deliver direct patient care in a safe and effective manner.
• Continuously evaluate and adapt the care plan as needed.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare team members, both in writing and verbally.
• Engage in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery within your assigned area.
Education/Formal Training Requirements
• Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing - LPN.
Work Experience Requirements
• No prior work experience required.
Licenses and Certifications Requirements
• BASIC LIFE SUPPORT - American Heart Association.
• Licensed Practical Nurse - Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse - Mississippi Board of Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee Board of Nursing.
Supervision Provided by This Position
• No supervisory or lead responsibilities are assigned to this position.
Physical Demands
• The position may involve climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
• Good balance and coordination are necessary.
• Physical requirements include medium work, which entails exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
• Close visual acuity is required for assessing patients, preparing data, and extensive reading.
• Frequent patient contact, both invasive and non-invasive, is expected.
• Exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous materials may occur.
• Ability to act swiftly in emergency situations is essential.
