Job Description
General Summary Of Duties
To provide excellence in patient care that builds confidence, loyalty and trust with our patients, patients' families and the community by performing preoperative assessments, collecting patient medical history and coordinating preoperative care to ensure patients are prepared for surgery. Key duties including conducting interviews over the phone, taking a detail patient history, screening to make sure that patients meet criteria to be done at center, holding conversations with physicians, staff, and physician's offices, critical thinking skills and judgement calls, and educating patients on pre-surgical preparations and instructions. To strive to communicate and interact with others in a professional, responsible, cooperative and positive manner at all times. To act as a resource person to manage and utilize personnel in an effective and appropriate manner, and complete tasks assigned within the time frame. Possibility of moving to a remote position in the future.
Requirements
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing; current RN License.
• CPR required.
• Minimum one year of clinical experience.
• Phone and computer skills
