Your Key Responsibilities as a Private Duty Nurse (PDN) will include:
• Delivering in-home direct patient care following the provider’s care plan while continuously monitoring patient progress.
• Assessing and documenting patient conditions, including vital signs and any changes required.
• Administering medications, insulin, and IV fluids while maintaining thorough documentation.
• Caring for wounds, changing dressings, and assisting with personal hygiene needs.
• Evaluating patients for potential injuries, infections, or bedsores and providing timely treatment.
• Collaborating with healthcare providers, aides, and allied professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Education: Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure: A current and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the relevant state.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation for travel to care sites.
• Experience with trach and/or ventilators is preferred but not mandatory.
