Hourly pay: $35 - $40/ per hour We are seeking a skilled, confident Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an 18-year-old male with complex medical needs in a home setting in Wasilla. Patient Overview The patient is nonverbal and non-ambulatory but fully cognitively aware and highly engaged. He uses eye-gaze technology for communication and enjoys YouTube videos, flight vlogs, musicals (Wicked and Frozen as an example), and Spider-Man He has a strong sense of humor and responds best to nurses who are calm, lighthearted, and respectful. He has dystonia, a movement disorder that can increase with anxiety, particularly during repositioning or care. A nurse who is confident, patient, and reassuring is essential to helping him feel safe and comfortable.
