Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate care for cardiac catheterization patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist physicians throughout various operative procedures.
• Maintain and manage patient records, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
Qualifications:
• Cath Lab experience is required for this PRN position.
• Current Florida RN license or compact license (active Florida RN license required within 60 days of hire).
• Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is necessary.
• ACLS certification is needed within the first six months of employment.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician is ideal.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal communication, and technical skills are essential.
