PRN Corporate Health Registered Nurse in Plano, TX

Corporate Health Registered Nurse needed for an ongoing per-diem contract opportunity with Yoh’s corporate office client located in Plano & Fort Worth, TX. • Must be able to cover both locations, depending on the need. Plano is the biggest location so likely will be there more. This job is only on an as-needed basis with the schedule typically made in advance, but we are looking for flexibility to cover call-outs too. Must be able to work 0 to 5 shifts per week between Monday and Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm. Average is a couple of shifts a month. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees of a corporate office. Top Skills You Should Possess: • Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse license in state of Texas • Minimum (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse • Prior experience in: Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, Corrections, or School Nursing type setting • Recent clinical experience and strong first-aid skills • Professional, dedicated, friendly, and helpful employee What You’ll Be Doing: • Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns • Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc. • Travel health consultation, health coaching, and health education • Provide medical testing/biometric screenings such as EKGs, pulmonary function, phlebotomy, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests • Immunizations • Respond to emergencies onsite and provide emergency medical care as-needed (assist First Responders) What You Need to Bring to the Table: • MUST HAVE A FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE between Monday and Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm - this position is to cover for when full-time staff need time off of work so the schedule is very infrequent • BLS certified • Computer savvy (including prior EMR use) • Passionate about promoting health and wellbeing in the workplace • Must be able to stand for long periods of time, go up and down multiple flights of stairs, and do a lot of fast-walking What’s In It For You? • Gain experience working at a well-established company with a prestigious reputation • Great way to make extra $$$ with a flexible day shift schedule • Unique, interesting, and rewarding work environment getting to make a real impact on both individual well-being and workplace culture.
