Your Role
As an Endoscopy RN PRN, you will:
• Evaluate pre-operative patients and educate them and their families about procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including IV therapy and site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and uphold patient safety protocols.
• Quickly identify and respond to patient emergencies.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care through evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with a dynamic surgical team to facilitate optimal care delivery.
• Utilize critical thinking, technical skills, and leadership to ensure safe nursing care.
• Continuously assess and document patients’ conditions and care provided.
Qualifications
• Candidates must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Basic Cardiac Life Support certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure is required within 90 days of employment.
• A minimum of an Associate Degree is preferred.
