As a PRN Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), your role will include:
• Conducting thorough assessments of patients and their families to determine their hospice needs, focusing on pain management and symptom control.
• Performing ongoing evaluations of the patient's physical condition and their psychosocial environment.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary group (IDG), patient/family, and physician to create an effective plan of care.
Requirements:
A few must-haves for PRN Hospice Registered Nurses:
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least twelve (12) months of nursing experience within the last five (5) years.
• One (1) year of hospice care experience preferred.
