Responsibilities
• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the practice of professional nursing, including patient care and management responsibilities assigned to them.
• The RN may lead as Charge Nurse, ensuring professional practice is upheld.
• Compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations is essential to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (must obtain within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification is required within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role, prior to providing direct patient care.
• Additional certifications like ACLS and/or PALS may be required by the department.
Preferred Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of experience in a nursing specialty.
• 2 years of general nursing experience.
