PRN Infusion Nurse in Lake Arthur, LA

We are looking for a skilled infusion nurse (RN) with IVIg experience who is passionate about delivering in-home infusions to patients. Infusion Details: • Medication: Gamunex - Infuse 55 grams intravenously once every 4 weeks • Length of treatment: 1 Hour Pre-Hydration + 3 Hours & 25 Minutes + Prep Time • Location: Lake Arthur, LA 70549 • Date of Service: Due 1/28/26 • Access: PIV • Pump: Curlin Pump Preferences: • The patient is flexible with start time • The patient prefers an experienced, female RN • The patient has a service dog and another friendly dog in the home Responsibilities of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse: • Administer immune globulin infusion therapies directly to patients in a comfortable home setting. • Utilize your clinical IV expertise and compassionate approach to provide meaningful support to patients in their own environment. • Deliver personalized, one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and educate patients in accordance with the physician's treatment plan. • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare partners. Requirements of the PRN Home Infusion Registered Nurse: • Active and unencumbered nursing license in the state of practice • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross) • IVIg experience, preferably in the home setting • A valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance are required, along with access to a vehicle for business-related travel • A clear background check
