Job Specifications: This is a PRN position with flexible hours. Work shift includes 12-hour night shifts. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee and coordinate patient care, directing home health aides and nursing staff based on patient needs. • Maintain clinical competency while delivering direct patient care and adjusting care plans as required. • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide holistic and informed care. • Educate patients and families about their rights, care processes, and resources available. • Stay updated with nursing research and practice standards to continually improve patient care quality. • Triage patient needs effectively over the phone and in-person when necessary. • Supervise home health aides in compliance with Medicare/Medicaid regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the nursing team’s effectiveness and cohesion. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico or a Compact State Nursing License is required. A degree from an accredited nursing program is necessary, with a minimum ADN and the expectation of BSN completion within five years of hire.
