As a PRN Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN), you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients in the intensive care unit. Your expertise will be essential in evaluating patient conditions, administering vital treatments, and offering continuous support throughout their recovery journey. Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and ordering necessary diagnostic tests while administering intravenous fluids and medications.
• Responding effectively to life-threatening situations by utilizing established nursing standards and protocols for patient care.
• Ensuring all medical equipment, including ventilators and monitors, is functioning correctly to provide optimal patient care.
