Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, patient-centered care that aligns with departmental standards and specific requirements. In collaboration with healthcare providers and the care team, the RN will ensure comprehensive and compassionate care using established nursing practices. Advocating for patients and their families, you will embody our mission and values, contributing to exceptional patient experiences and clinical success. • Regularly assess patient pain to ensure effective management and document interventions promptly. • Carry out procedures and monitor patients as per physician orders, ensuring thorough documentation. • Respond swiftly to patient needs, anticipating requirements and addressing concerns proactively. • Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and potential side effects, ensuring clear understanding. • Provide guidance on lifestyle changes and self-management strategies to empower patients and their families. Qualifications: • Graduation from an accredited Nursing program with an Associate's Degree or higher is required. • Active Registered Nurse license in South Carolina in good standing. • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. • ACLS and PALS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross are preferred and must be obtained within the first year of employment. • Previous experience in emergency, critical care, or pre-hospital nursing is preferred.
