Your role involves providing direct nursing care while adhering to established protocols and receiving the support of a dedicated healthcare team. Key Responsibilities: • Utilize evidence-based nursing practices to enhance patient care and promote a high quality of life for patients, families, and significant others. • Build respectful and effective relationships with patients and their families to tailor care plans to individual needs. • Employ the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care effectively. • Consider all dimensions of health in developing management strategies for patient care. • Educate patients, families, and significant others on health promotion and comfort measures. • Foster a collaborative work environment by coordinating with the healthcare team to achieve the best patient outcomes. • Promote a positive work culture by mentoring new colleagues and supporting nursing students. • Remain vigilant and ensure safe practices in all aspects of care. • Additional duties as assigned to support the unit and patient needs. Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited nursing program. • No prior experience required. Physical Demands: • Ability to communicate effectively, stand, walk, and lift as needed. • Frequent use of vision, hearing, and other senses to provide optimal care. • Occasional lifting/moving of patients and materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Licensure and Certification: • Active Registered Nurse license in your Compact State or Oklahoma. • Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) from the American Heart Association.
