Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will play a crucial leadership role in providing top-notch nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being. You will apply the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to efficiently deliver, delegate, supervise, and document patient care and education.
Qualifications Needed:
• Preferred Experience: At least one year of hospital nursing experience.
• Required Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN program, with a commitment to complete within five years of starting the RN position. Individuals with 10 years of nursing experience are exempt from this requirement.
• Required License/Certifications: Current registration as a nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing, or an applicable eNLC (Enhanced Nurse License Compact) license.
• Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.
