Job Summary and Qualifications
The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering high quality, patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers and other team members to offer individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care. The RN is responsible for:
• Regularly assessing patient pain to ensure effective pain management.
• Performing procedures and monitoring as ordered by medical providers, documenting care in the patient medical record accurately and promptly.
• Delivering exceptional care by responding quickly to patient needs and anticipating potential issues.
• Educating patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, medications, and lifestyle changes necessary for self-management.
• Encouraging non-medicinal follow-up measures that promote healthy living.
Qualifications:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (RN) Registered Nurse license required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Emergency Department necessary.
