PRN Registered Nurse (RN) in Bayonne, NJ

**Overview:**
Premise is a healthcare organization dedicated to helping people get, stay, and be well. We are currently seeking a PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centralized Staffing Pool in New Jersey. As a PRN RN, you will provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in New Jersey. **Responsibilities:**
• Assess patient care needs, conduct nursing evaluations, and provide treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Perform and document medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administer medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintain medical equipment, ensure a clean and safe environment, and follow infection control procedures
• Maintain patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educate patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Perform other duties as assigned
• *Qualifications:**
• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
