Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with the standards of practice in wound care. You will collaborate with medical providers and a dedicated care team, providing compassionate assistance to patients and their families while advocating for their needs. Your commitment to excellence will help us achieve outstanding patient experiences and positive clinical outcomes.
What you will do in this role:
• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions during admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status.
• Perform required procedures and medication administration as per medical provider direction, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in patient records.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate and address their needs to provide exemplary care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures, ensuring clear understanding of complex medical information.
What qualifications you will need:
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; a BSN is preferred.
• Current RN license in Virginia or a compact multistate license.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in wound care is required.
