Job Summary and Qualifications As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in alignment with the standards of practice in wound care. You will collaborate with medical providers and a dedicated care team, providing compassionate assistance to patients and their families while advocating for their needs. What you will do in this role: • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions during admission and throughout each shift, promptly identifying and reporting changes in status. • Perform required procedures and medication administration as per medical provider direction, ensuring accurate and timely documentation in patient records. • Respond promptly to patient requests and proactively anticipate and address their needs to provide exemplary care. • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures, ensuring clear understanding of complex medical information. What qualifications you will need: • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; a BSN is preferred. • Current RN license in Virginia or a compact multistate license. • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment. • A minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in wound care is required.
