CMHA is looking to hire a benefit eligible Part-time 24 hours APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse). This position will be located at 255 Bank St. Waterbury, CT 06702. Compensation: The annual salary range for this position starts at $106,080.Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. Position Summary: The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care within a multidisciplinary behavioral health setting. The APRN conducts psychiatric evaluations, provides medication management, and collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver recovery-oriented, culturally responsive care. Responsibilities: • Provides and documents psychiatric and pharmacological assessments in accordance with agency policies and regulatory standards. • Delivers ongoing medication management and follow-up care through scheduled and urgent appointments. • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support treatment planning, care coordination, and referrals to higher or lower levels of care. • Participates in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and risk management activities. • Responds to clinical needs in a timely manner, including on-call responsibilities as assigned. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements: • APRN licensure in the State of Connecticut. • Psychiatric certification or eligibility appropriate to the client population. • 1-3 years post-degree experience in the provision of psychiatric assessment and medication evaluation of the full range of psychiatric disorders as identified in the DSM-IV-TR. • Must be able to prescribe Buprenorphine. • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: • Bilingual in Spanish and/or Polish. • Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Experience in or the ability and willingness to learn how to use an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, including appointment scheduling, authorization tracking, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
