Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at The Ridge Recovery Center, a modern facility in Windham, CT. This is a remarkable opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals overcoming substance use disorders. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of professionals, including clinical and medical staff, to provide direct care to clients. Your responsibilities will include: • Assessing clients' conditions and needs. • Administering medications safely and effectively. • Managing withdrawal symptoms and providing supportive nursing care. • Educating clients about their health, wellness, and recovery journeys. We are looking for an ideal candidate with strong therapeutic interpersonal skills to motivate and inspire individuals toward achieving their treatment goals. Qualifications: • Valid CT RN license. • Minimum of an Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred). • CPR & AED certification within six months of employment. • Accredited certification in Addictions Nursing (CARN) or Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing preferred, or actively pursuing credentialing. • Minimum one year of nursing experience in Psychiatric or Substance Abuse Treatment preferred. • Experience as a CNA, Mental Health Worker, or in a related field is beneficial for newly graduated nurses.
