Deliver specialized psychiatric nursing care as a Registered Nurse in a Behavioral Health Unit setting, supporting patients with mental health needs. Schedule/Hours: • Night shift • 12-hour shifts Key Responsibilities: • Provide compassionate, patient-focused nursing care on a Behavioral Health Unit • Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed plans • Monitor patient condition and respond to behavioral changes promptly • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans • Maintain documentation and compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications / Desired Experience: • Current RN license with active verification • Experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, as applicable • Up-to-date vaccination status for MMR and Varicella or formal declination status • Ability to complete and maintain full compliance profile within two weeks of start Additional Details: • Contract length: 26 weeks, per diem availability required • Preference for candidates available for a full schedule through the end of January and the first week of February • Start date: January 17 This opportunity is ideal for experienced psychiatric registered nurses seeking a rewarding role with flexibility in Sparks, Nevada.
