About the Role
You will provide professional nursing care to patients and their families, working collaboratively with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure outstanding patient outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, accurately administering medications and treatments in alignment with established nursing standards while coordinating patient activities.
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during various procedures, treatments, examinations, and tests.
• Monitor, document, and report on patients' conditions and reactions to medications and treatments.
• Manage appointment scheduling, prioritizing patients in emergency situations, and facilitating an efficient flow for clinic operations.
• Welcome patients and prepare them for exams by collecting relevant health history, measuring vitals, and conducting nursing assessments. Ensure detailed documentation in patient charts.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries over the phone, providing information as directed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on the diagnostic journey, medication management, nutrition, and health maintenance.
• Proactively address patient care concerns and complaints with potential solutions.
• Maintain exam rooms with necessary supplies, ensuring cleanliness, and prepare inventory lists for needed medical supplies.
• Label pathology specimens as per lab protocols, perform quality control, and maintain testing records.
Key Qualifications
• Availability to work designated hours with the required visual acuity and effective communication capabilities.
Requirements
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Board of Nursing in the state of practice upon hire.
