Qualifications and Experience: • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Illinois • Minimum of 2 years experience in psychiatric acute care settings • Experience with adolescent and young adult mental health patients • Comfortable managing low to moderate acuity cases • Current CPR and CPI certification required (submission needed) • Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system • Ability to complete a CANTS form upon acceptance of the position • Submission of an updated resume, skills checklist, IL nursing license, CPI certification, and one completed psychiatric supervisor reference from the last year Responsibilities: • Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric patients in an acute care setting • Conduct assessments and develop appropriate nursing interventions • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care • Maintain patient safety and therapeutic environment • Document patient care and progress accurately using the Epic system • Support adolescent and young adult patients through their treatment process Schedule: • 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM • Work every other weekend and holidays as needed This position is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced psychiatric care environments and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of youth and young adults.
