Responsibilities: • Deliver psychiatric nursing care to patients with low to moderate acuity in an acute care setting. • Utilize clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and well-being. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including the use of electronic health records systems. • Comply with all regulatory and hospital policies, including participation in required trainings related to safety and patient care. • Provide coverage as needed on weekends every other week and on holidays as required. Qualifications and Experience: • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Minimum 2 years’ experience in psychiatric nursing, specifically acute care with adolescents and young adults. • CPR and CPI certifications required; submission of CPI documentation necessary. • Experience with Epic electronic health records highly preferred. • Completion of or willingness to complete a CANTS form. • Skills checklist for psychiatric nursing must be provided. • Recent psychiatric supervisor reference (within the last year) required. Schedule: • 8-hour day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. • Weekend and holiday rotations as outlined.
