Job Description
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with psychiatric nursing experience
• Current ACLS certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of start
• Current PALS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of start
• Experience and comfort in providing psychiatric patient care in acute settings
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to participate in on-site fit testing as needed

Responsibilities:
• Administer psychiatric nursing care in accordance with hospital protocols and best practices
• Monitor and manage patient conditions, reporting changes promptly to the healthcare team
• Assist with therapeutic interventions and crisis management strategies
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
This is a contract opportunity with competitive compensation. ACLS and PALS certifications may be obtained shortly after the start date if not currently held. Fit testing will be provided on-site to accommodate travelers.
