Position Overview As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and their families, coordinating seamlessly with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive nursing care, administering medications and treatments in line with established nursing standards. • Prepare equipment and assist providers during various medical procedures and examinations. • Observe and report on patients' conditions and responses to treatments, ensuring timely communication with the healthcare team. • Coordinate patient scheduling, prioritizing emergencies and maintaining an efficient patient flow. • Welcome patients, gather health history, assess vital signs, and document findings accurately in patient records. • Provide clear instructions to patients for sample and test collection. • Respond promptly to patient inquiries, collaborating with physicians as needed. • Educate patients and families on diagnostic procedures, medication management, nutrition, and health maintenance. • Propose effective solutions to patient care challenges and concerns. • Maintain cleanliness and supply levels in exam rooms, preparing a list of needed materials. • Ensure proper labeling of pathology specimens and uphold quality control standards for lab tests. Essential Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be able to work specified hours, with necessary visual acuity and communication skills to perform essential duties effectively.
