Psychiatric Registered Nurse | Paterson, New Jersey in Brookdale, NJ

Provide specialized nursing care as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a psychiatric setting, supporting behavioral health patients through collaborative care and comprehensive treatment planning. Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct nursing care to psychiatric patients, monitoring and assessing mental health status
• Participate actively in team nursing and collaborative meetings with physicians to coordinate patient care
• Work closely with social workers to facilitate discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients
• Utilize Omnicell and EPIC systems for medication management and accurate documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a psychiatric setting
• Proficiency in psychiatric nursing principles and patient care
• Experience with Omnicell and EPIC electronic health records systems
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• IV certification is not required
