Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience This position is an onsite role without a hybrid or remote option. Summary: As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care in a dynamic behavioral health setting. You will ensure a safe environment for our patients, aiming to optimize their outcomes and efficiently utilize available resources. Responsibilities: • Initiate corrective actions for patients exhibiting adverse symptoms. • Respond effectively to various patient care situations using established nursing protocols. • Deliver psychiatric nursing care to a diverse and complex behavioral health patient population. • Manage high-stress situations with composed and decisive actions. • Demonstrate critical thinking skills, making sound judgements while working independent of supervision. Adapt successfully to a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action as needed. Requirements: • Graduate from an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered Nursing program, with a preference for a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). • Minimum of 6 months of nursing experience as an RN. • Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) within 30 days of hire. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross must be valid before the start date and remain valid for at least sixty days after hire.
