PT: Physical Therapist in Palmer, AK

Acute Care Registered Nurse Location Alaska Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Days, 8 AM – 4 PM with rotating weekends (up to 2 weekends per month). Job Description We are seeking a qualified Acute Care Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in wound care and be familiar with both acute care and swing bed units, as well as ICU settings. This position does not require call or float shifts. Responsibilities • Provide nursing care to patients in an acute care setting. • Deliver wound care and related treatments as necessary. • Monitor patient vital signs and report changes as needed. • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Current Alaska PT License. • Experience in wound care. • Proficiency with EMR systems, preferably Cerner. • Ability to manage a patient ratio of 8-12 per shift.
