
PT Registered Nurse - MHMG at Galleria in Butler, OH
Job Description
Shift: Day shift; M 8-5pm, Th 7-5pm, F 730-12pm
Status: Part-Time; 6 shifts per biweekly pay period
Weekends: No
Holidays: No
This position reports to the Practice Manager.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing/College of Nursing.
• Current Ohio RN licensure required.
• CPR/BLS certification, required within 90 days of hire.
• Physician Office experience, preferred.
• EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrates ability to exercise effective clinical reasoning related to the assessment, care, delivery and evaluation of patients of all ages and in a variety of specialties.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills to facilitate patient knowledge and understanding.
• Effectively communicates with physicians, co-workers, patients, and families.
• Demonstrates effective problem solving skills in role and shows initiative to meet needs of provider, team members and patients without direction.
• Demonstrates competency with applicable policies and procedures as outlined in the Orientation Program prior to the completion of orientation.
• Required to become skilled in the EPIC Electronic Health Record System.
Skill/Ability:
• Ability to work independently and as a team player, to exercise good judgment and successfully manage a variety of tasks.
• Ability to think critically including interpretation, analysis, and evaluation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize care in handling various patient loads.
• Computer and keyboarding skills.
• Occasionally lifts and carries weights up to 50 pounds.
