Elementary School Nurse A full-time nursing professional is needed for an elementary school assignment in Des Moines, IA. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide dedicated health care support to young students, managing an elementary caseload with a focus on individualized 1:
1 care. The assignment is for the current school year (CSY) with an immediate start date.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to elementary students with health needs requiring 1:
1 attention
Monitor and manage health conditions, administer medications, and document student health records
Collaborate with school staff, parents, and health professionals to support student well-being
Implement individualized health plans and respond promptly to health emergencies
Ensure compliance with school health policies and procedures
Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid licensure as an RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN/LVN (Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse) specializing in school nursing, public health nursing, or similar settings
Experience working with children in a school or pediatric healthcare environment
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a school setting
Ability to manage multiple health needs with a focus on safety and care quality
Immediate availability to begin the assignment
