Travel RN - Labor and Delivery We are seeking a RN - Labor and Delivery for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Cambridge, MA 02138. Job Details: • Shift: 12-hour shifts Friday, Saturday, Sunday Nights • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week • Pay Rate: $2,340 - $2,556 Key Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods. • Monitor vital signs, fetal heart tones, and the progression of labor. • Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. • Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered. • Educate mothers and families about the birthing process and newborn care. • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure best outcomes for mothers and infants. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care. • Respond swiftly to emergencies and perform interventions as required. • Support breastfeeding and maternal bonding practices. Requirements: • Experience: 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing experience required.
