The Village at Willow Crossings is currently hiring for a Per Diem 10p-6a Signature Service RCA/CNA. We are looking for a compassionate Signature Services Resident Care Associate (RCA) to join our team! As a Signature Services RCA, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. The Signature Services Resident Care Associate provides the service and care required to each resident in a timely and efficient manner as outlined on the service plan. The SS RCA collaborates and works with the Signature Services Care Manager to consistently establish this cohesive delivery of care to the resident. Duties & Responsibilities • Assists residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. • Documents care provided and reports any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. • Engages residents in meaningful activities and provides emotional support. • Utilizes customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. • Responds to resident / family requests in a timely manner as appropriate. • Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system and knows when to call for backup. • Effectively handles difficult resident behaviors. • Assists assigned resident with Activities of Daily Living and medication reminders as listed on the service plan. • Removes, launders, folds, and properly returns resident linens and personal laundry if appropriate. • Serves resident food as directed, including feeding skills. • Other duties as needed. Requirements • Must have current nursing assistant certification (CNA), PCA or HHA certification. • High School education is preferred. • Demonstrates proficiency at reading and understanding a Resident Care Service Plan or assignment (e.g., ADLs and introductory visits). • Possesses current First Aid, and Heimlich certification, if required by state regulations.
