Salary: $120,000.00

What You’ll Do:
As Regional Senior Nurse Manager at Alsana, you will be responsible for the daily oversight and management of client services at Alsana Residential, PHP Programs. This position includes work in the areas of direct client care, staff development, client admissions and discharges, medication management, LVN/RN team oversight, medical documentation review, on-going clinical staff supervision, and training and compliance. This position requires knowledge of team building and an ability to work with others to ensure delivery of safe and effective clinical services.
Responsibilities
- Work with a multidisciplinary team of RN’s, LVN’s, therapists, dietitians, Director of Clinical services, and care counselor staff.
- CHLF RN administrator duties as administrator/license for three (3) WLK 6 bed residential locations.
- On call evenings and weekends for nursing and staffing support.
- Attend and support Psychiatrist and Medical MD onsite rounds.
- Assure payor and regulatory timelines for supporting documentation completed by MD’s and nursing staff per Compliance department.
- Manages, monitors, and administers medications per Alsana Policy.
- Supervise nursing team’s compliance with medication administration, policy and procedures, documentation. Oversee LVN’s for appropriate care plan implementation and documentation.
- Attend multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
- Ensures all medicationverification, and reconciliationon admission, throughout the length of stay, andatdischarge.
- Medication storage and destruction per CDPH regulations.
- Oversee nursing policyandproceduresregardingplan of care, infection control,The JointCommission standards, Key Performance Indicators, and corporate performanceimprovement initiatives.
- Assure incident reporting completion and follow up forperformance improvement and corrective actions needed.
- Perform phlebotomy, simple first aid,vital signs,andnursing assessmentas needed.
- Chart audits to support Compliance, The Joint Commission, and CDPH requirements.
- New hire orientation onsite. Assuretimelycompletion of all ADP trainings andrequirednursecertifications.
- Perform new hire and continuing education for nursing team.
- Perform educational client nursing group.
- Liaison for third partysupport services forlab,pharmacy,equipment,andinpatient/outpatient medicaland psychiatricreferralsources.
- Employee performance review, disciplinary action/review, employee relations.
- Assign daily/weekly/monthly nursing duties.
- Manage nursing schedule.
- Maintain supply par levels and supply ordering.
- Support staff nurses and RN administrator for SBA Amare location.
- Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned by National Nursing Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and an active, unencumbered RN License in the State of California
- Previous experience in a behavioral health or skilled nursing setting is preferred
- Supervisory experience is required
- Phlebotomy skills required
- Must have a current CPR certification. LGBTQ+ care training, ServSafe, CLIA training completions within 30 days.
