Requirements Experience 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience. BSN completion preferred Experience with Epic is required from any number of months. Required Skills/Experience: General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Starting and maintaining IVs, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, Care of Ventilated Patient, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Triage Preferred Skills/Experience: Pediatric Emergency Department, Stroke Certified Facility, Arterial line management, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho trauma, Head injury, Near drowning, Spinal cord injury, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation Required Credentials: • All ER and Psych candidates are required to submit to fingerprinting as outlined in the code of Virginia, 37.1-183.3.
