Job Summary and Qualifications
In this role as a Registered Nurse, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care according to departmental standards and guidelines. Collaborating with medical professionals and care teams, you will deliver comprehensive, compassionate care while acting as an advocate for patients and their families.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assessing patients’ conditions upon admission and throughout your shifts, promptly identifying and reporting any status changes.
• Performing ordered procedures and functions diligently, ensuring accurate documentation of each care administration.
• Administering prescribed medications and monitoring for therapeutic responses, taking necessary actions when issues arise.
• Providing timely and exceptional care by addressing patient requests proactively and anticipating needs.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and essential follow-up care with clarity and empathy.
What you need to succeed:
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Associate Degree required; BSN required with enrollment within 12 months and completion within 24 months.
• Minimum of 1 year of Acute Care RN experience preferred, ideally within PCU or Transplant settings.
