Job Summary As a Registered Nurse, you will work under the leadership of Nursing at our facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care. This role involves developing individualized care plans for patients based on their complex needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational requirements are met. Qualifications • Education: • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. • Associate's degree in Nursing. • Completion of nurse residency if applicable. • Experience: • Minimum of one year of experience with at least 1,000 hours of clinical experience as a licensed registered nurse. • Licensure, Certification, Registration: • Registered Nurse license in the State of CT. • Certified BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association (AHA). • Additional certifications may be required in specific specialties. • Language Skills: • Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: • Demonstrated nursing principles and practices. • Membership in a professional nursing organization preferred. • Ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate patient care effectively. • Manage a full patient assignment and expand responsibilities over time. • Strong communication skills for positive patient outcomes. • Cultural sensitivity in interactions with patients and families. • Proficient in age-specific care practices. • Collaborative team player with the ability to act as a preceptor and charge nurse when needed. • Self-directed with clinical responsibilities and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Competent in using healthcare technology and industry applications.
