Job Description
Our PRN Tier Plan offers competitive pay based on your commitment:
• Tier 1: $40/hr for 6 shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Tier 2: $45/hr for 12 shifts in a 6-week schedule
• Tier 3: $50/hr for 18 shifts in a 6-week schedule
Additionally, shift differentials apply for nights and weekends!
Summary:
As a competent Nurse, you will practice independently in a supportive clinical environment, providing both routine and complex care. You'll be equipped to manage various clinical contingencies while continuously enhancing your nursing skills.
Responsibilities:
• Meet the expectations of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide nursing care that aligns with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols while monitoring for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs, provide education to patients and families, and identify resources.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
• BLS certification required.
• Active RN License in the state of employment or compact state.
