Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Orthopedics team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with orthopedic needs, demonstrating clinical competence and independent practice in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: • Embrace and demonstrate the OneCHRISTUS Competencies for effective leadership. • Deliver exceptional nursing care through the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for your assigned patients. • Address the complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families effectively. • Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols, while monitoring for side effects and the overall effectiveness of prescribed treatments. • Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. • Assess educational needs and deliver appropriate education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and resources to aid in care. Job Requirements: • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a related nursing specialty preferred. • Licenses/Certifications: Current BLS certification required; RN License in the state of employment or compact. Work Schedule: 7PM - 7AM Work Type: Full Time
