
Registered Nurse - Acute Rehab - Day in Akron, PA

72 hours bi-weekly
7am to 7:30pm
Every 3rd weekend
Rotating holidays
Weekend differential
The Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit is an 8-bed unit that serves patients in the post-acute rehabilitation phase of care. The unit specializes in helping patients regain strength, independence, and function following illness, injury, or surgery. Care is delivered through an interdisciplinary team approach that includes nursing, therapy, and medical providers, focusing on individualized treatment plans that meet each patient’s unique needs.

General Summary
Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital. Acts as a primary nurse for patients on the unit. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
