As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Rehabilitation unit, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, LVADs, traumatic brain injuries, and burn injuries. Our facility features 33 patient beds with integrated physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy right on the unit, ensuring comprehensive care for every patient. Your Responsibilities Will Include: • Assessing and planning nursing care tailored to individual and family needs. • Leading within a professional practice setting, contributing to team success through mentoring and support. • Delegating tasks appropriately based on patient needs and staff skill levels. • Maintaining safe environments and promoting patient safety initiatives. • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and evaluating clinical care in interdisciplinary teams. • Utilizing the nursing process to create and implement effective patient care plans. • Continuously evaluating patient and family satisfaction and addressing concerns with compassionate communication. • Managing time effectively to carry out responsibilities within your shift.
