Location: MetroHealth Behavioral Health Hospital- Cleveland Heights Bi-weekly Hours: 72.00 Shift: 11p-7a; 7p-7a; rotation based on unit need; every other weekend; every other holiday For nearly two centuries, the MetroHealth System's mission has been focused on delivering high-quality patient-centered care to all communities in Northeast Ohio. Today, our Behavioral Health Center will change how mental health services are delivered in Cleveland. Our new facility is located in Cleveland Heights and is intentionally designed to meet the needs of patients. Join our Behavioral Health Dual Diagnosis Disorder Unit! Primary Patient Population: • 18+ years old • Primary mental health concern and secondary substance abuse disorder Primary skills utilized/learned: • Assessment Skills • Therapeutic Listening • Verbal De-escalation • Crisis Management • Relationship Building • Milieu Management • Group Programming Facilitation Personnel RN will work with: • LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Providers, Psychologists, Behavioral Health Specialists (BHS), Social Workers Number of beds on unit: • 20 beds MetroHealth offers industry-leading benefits, including tuition reimbursement, professional certification incentives, and medical/dental insurance. Required Qualifications: • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio • Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: • BSN • Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
